Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader based in Kentucky to drive daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping. You will coach staff, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.

You’ll oversee staffing, scheduling, and training, partnering with branch leadership to meet customer service and operational goals while pushing continuous improvement and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations.
• Leadership experience managing warehouse personnel.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping, receiving, and WMS processes.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and work in a warehouse environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process improvements.

Job Summary

Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. Develop and coach warehouse associates while driving operational performance, inventory accuracy, and customer service. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

• Monitor operational metrics and implement improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, facility standards, and housekeeping requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations experience.
• Prior leadership experience managing warehouse personnel.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management processes.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and work in a warehouse environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
