Join us on our mission to empower more people to find their way home by breaking barriers to entry, making the right connections, and building confidence through expert guidance.

Are you passionate about building software solutions to solve real customer problems? Do you like fast-paced work environments? Are you passionate about modern programming languages, design patterns, and scalable architectures? You’ll be right at home here!

Enterprise Systems Community

You will be joining the Enterprise Systems tech community, the vital architectural backbone where Realtor.com’s most ambitious strategic initiatives transform into reality. Our team doesn’t just manage software; we build the high-speed ‘engine room’ that powers the entire business lifecycle—integrating complex sales, billing, inventory, and fulfillment platforms into a seamless, high-scale ecosystem.

At Realtor, youwill be part of a forward-thinking community dedicated to compressing the distance between business intent and execution. We research and deploy cutting‑edge autonomous workflow engines to ensure our customers and internal partners have a best‑in‑class, friction‑free experience. We strive to innovate by building self‑healing infrastructures and AI‑driven automation that make the transaction journey faster and more intelligent than ever before. Join us to push the boundaries of what’s possible, turning traditional systems of record into dynamic engines of growth, while learning from world‑class talent in a culture that thrives on experimentation and impact.

The Role:

As the Engineering Manager of our Salesforce team and a key technical influencer, you will contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle. Your leadership and collaboration skills will drive impactful, cross‑organization initiatives, delivering industry‑leading solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative systems that empower individuals on their home‑buying, selling, or renting journey.

What You Will Do:
  • Design and maintain high‑availability systems that power core business functions, including Finance, CRM, and Order Management.
  • Lead engineering teams in delivering high‑quality value quickly through Agile incremental development.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning to automate complex workflows, reducing manual overhead.
  • Partner with technical leads and product managers to define a clear technical roadmap and uphold the architectural integrity of Move products.
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing tools to accelerate experimentation and value delivery.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, trust, quality, and ongoing improvement.
  • Inspire and energize the team, rallying them to execute a range of organizational initiatives successfully.
What You Will Bring:
  • At least 1 year of experience leading software engineering teams in a technology‑driven organization.
  • Proven focus on delivering results and outcomes, with a strong understanding of the value of rapidly shipping code and iterating based on feedback.
  • Exceptional ability to coach and mentor engineers, fostering skill development and career growth.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, service integrations, scalable backend architectures (e.g. event stream and REST API), and Agile development methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with high‑level system design and familiarity with best practices and design patterns.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
How We Work:

We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in‑person collaboration. Our employees work three days in our Austin headquarters, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in‑person, adding richness to our culture and knitting us closer together.
