LyondellBasell is seeking a Manager, Executive Communications & Media based in Houston, Texas. You will lead corporate communications activities supporting the C‑suite executives and play a critical role in building relationships with the media.
This role requires exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking, and a demonstrated ability to manage media issues. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in communications are essential.

The Manager, Executive Communications & Media leads a broad range of corporate communications activities supporting the company’s C‑suite executives and key corporate functions. This role serves as a strategic partner to LyondellBasell executives, developing and delivering impactful global executive communications, including presentations, speeches, and media engagements. The role requires a strong understanding of the media landscape, with demonstrated experience working with top‑tier business and financial media to deliver measurable outcomes. The individual will serve as a company spokesperson and must be adept at managing issues and crisis communications. They will also provide media coaching and guidance to senior leaders to strengthen executive presence and message delivery. The Manager will lead communications for regional and large‑scale initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and issues management, while supporting digital and visual storytelling across multiple channels. As a trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders, the individual must effectively manage competing priorities, lead multiple projects simultaneously, and engage with colleagues at all levels of the organization in a professional and collaborative manner. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Communications and is based in Houston, Texas.
