Job summary

The Role

This benchmark is intended to be used by companies that have generic classifications engaged in research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical.

Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • This position will lead the NNS Emergency Planning organization. ERO experience is required.
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience and/or formal training in emergency response and/or emergency management
