Job summary

Vizient in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Manager to lead an analytics-focused team supporting contracting and sourcing operations. You will provide strategic direction, drive performance, and develop talent to ensure high-quality contract execution across business units.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to balance priorities, optimize processes, and implement improvements in data quality and efficiency. This role emphasizes leadership, analytics, and client relations.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • People leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Experience with contract administration, contract amendments, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Knowledge of healthcare contracting, supply chain operations, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and client management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience driving operational improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Access, SQL, or other preferred analytical tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day analyst team operations, including workload prioritization, resource planning, project management, and performance against established service levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through performance management, career development, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand strategic priorities, anticipate contracting and analytical needs, and align team resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, contract quality, data quality, and team effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to promote quality, productivity, and timely delivery.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex contracting activities, including amendments, contract interpretation, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including second-level reviews of complex contract analyses and amendments to promote accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead contract amendment processes, including line-item changes, extensions, pricing updates, and contract language modifications.
  • Present analyses, operational updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership and clients while fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  • Partner with technology and business teams to implement system enhancements, process automation, and initiatives that improve contracting operations.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
