Job summary

University Health in San Antonio, Texas, is expanding its women’s service line and seeks a Board Eligible/Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join full-time. The role focuses on outpatient high-risk obstetric care at two campuses (Palo Alto and Retama opening in 2027) with strong tertiary support.

You’ll have a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no routine weekends or holidays; inpatient needs are managed by the main Labor & Delivery unit.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible/board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician.
• Outpatient management of high-risk pregnancies.
• Mon-Fri schedule; no routine weekends or holidays.
• Two community hospital settings with strong tertiary support.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient high-risk obstetric care.
• Triaging and transferring high-acuity patients to the main campus Labor & Delivery unit.
• Perform advanced procedures such as amniocentesis and detailed ultrasound.
• Collaborate with two new community hospital campuses for comprehensive care.
