Amphenol APC in Nashua, NH is seeking an operator for conformal coating and bonding of assemblies. You will perform masking/unmasking, follow process docs, and handle solvents (IPA, acetone, urethane) while meeting quality specs.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and adherence to safety rules. IPC-A-610 certification is preferred and overtime may be required on some shifts.

This position is responsible for the conformal coating and bonding of assemblies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform coating operations such as masking, unmasking, and touchup.
• Use assembly specific documentation, including routes, bills of material, and prints to process a variety of backplanes.
• Work with chemicals such as IPA, acetone, urethane, coating materials, etc.
• Understand and follow all process control specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections with a clear understanding of acceptance and rejection criteria.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement work.
• This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
• Comply with department specific safety rules and general Amphenol policies.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 25 lbs. safely.
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.
• Current IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
