Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Circuit Card Design Engineer to drive architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for an MFC program. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineers to accelerate design, procurement, and testing while guiding designs through the Design Assurance process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test.
• Experience developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements.
• Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture.
• Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture, schematic capture, and EPCAD layout for an MFC program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to accelerate design, procurement, and testing.
• shepherd each design through the Design Assurance process.
• Define, refine, and document system, performance, and interface requirements.
• Support development of multiple circuit card assemblies; manage BOM and part sourcing.
• Provide technical direction for failure investigations and take ownership from conception to implementation.
