Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on executing scheduled maintenance, tracking parts, and bringing equipment in and out of maintenance state for production readiness.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, and the ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule including some night shifts and weekend/holiday coverage.

Primary and Secondary Responsibilities:

• Execute scheduled maintenance work adhering to the approved best known method for all tasks completed
• Tracking and assembling of all parts required to complete maintenance ahead of time
• Completion of qualifications required to bring equipment fully out of maintenance state and into production
• Tracking of critical data from performed maintenance to define improvement opportunities for optimal PM performance

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• 2 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
• Ability to work night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interest in and capability of performing mechanical and maintenance activities on tool sets
• Commitment to working via a highly standardized set of instructions is required
• Effective teaming with both engineering and manufacturing teams is required
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
