Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a metrology/calibration technician to perform testing, calibration, adjustment, cleaning and minor repairs on mechanical and optical measuring equipment, using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in metrology/calibration, ability to read drawings, and eligibility for U.S. security clearance (DoD Secret) and ATF clearance. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Three (3) years of experience in metrology/calibration.
• Experience working from drawings.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs the mechanical calibration on all material / equipment fabricated to company drawings to fulfill quality requirements.

Starting Pay Rate: $39.75

What You Will Do
