We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Metrology Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise measurements and tests on our products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of quality control processes. The candidate will be working closely with our Quality Assurance team to ensure that our products are manufactured according to ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
• Utilize metrology equipment and software to conduct measurements, including calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and vision systems.
• Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards and other relevant quality regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the inspection process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records.
• Implement and monitor quality control metrics to identify areas of improvement.
• Conduct training on metrology techniques and equipment to other team members as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Utilize IQMS system for tracking, reporting, and documenting inspection results.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Metrology Technician or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using metrology equipment and software.
• Solid understanding and experience with ISO 13485, Metrology, IQMS, and Quality.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven record of maintaining high-quality standards.
• Experience in training and mentoring others on metrology techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Certification in Quality Control or a related field is a plus.
• A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
