Job summary

Novo Nordisk US in Boulder seeks a Specialist, Metrology to implement metrology strategies and serve as the SME for calibration. You will act as the site representative for the global metrology process and ensure calibration specs meet cGMP and site procedures while collaborating with Quality and NN Product Supply teams.

The role emphasizes leading calibration methods, driving improvements, and planning metrology initiatives, including creating an internal Metrology Lab and annual budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent metrology experience.
• 2+ years of metrology experience; pharmaceutical/regulated industry preferred.
• Experience calibrating instrumentation and writing technical procedures.
• Familiarity with cGMPs, SOPs, and site-level requirements.
• Ability to plan maintenance/calibration activities and investigations.
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive creation and approval of calibration specs and methods for the site.
• Act as SME for instrumentation calibration and problem solving.
• Coach technicians in metrology practices and improvements.
• Lead metrology initiatives and calibration record keeping.
• Support audits and inspections related to metrology/calibration.
