Job summary

INNIO Group in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Metrology Specialist focused on CMM programming to support part qualification and supplier accountability.

You will program CMMs with Zeiss Calypso, perform inspections with hand gauges, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes.

This onsite role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a proven manufacturing quality background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in CMM programming with Zeiss Calypso software (any version).
• Proficient in the use of hand gauging tools (height gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrology principles.
• Experience with PolyWorks CMM software is a plus.
• Experience with ERP-based software is a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, develop, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software to support part qualification and supplier accountability.
• Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs and a variety of hand gauging tools (height gauges, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Communicate inspection requirements and results effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to engineering and quality teams regarding inspection capabilities during planning and development phases.
• Support and improve inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Complete additional tasks as required to support the metrology and quality teams.

We are seeking an experienced Metrology Specialist with a strong focus on CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso software (any version) and will play a key role in supporting our qualification and supplier accountability processes.

Additional Details

• Location: Waukesha, WI
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite per week.
