Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Metrology Supervisor / Technical SME at our Fort Worth, TX site. The role leads metrology and calibration operations, guiding technicians and contractors to ensure accurate, traceable measurement systems and audit readiness.

You will act as the SME for calibration methodologies, uncertainty analysis, and traceability, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, quality, validation, and automation teams. Onsite work with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, math, chemistry, measurement science, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in metrology, calibration, or measurement systems.
• Knowledge of calibration management, traceability, and uncertainty analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily metrology and calibration operations with prioritization and contractor coordination.
• Supervise and mentor metrology personnel to drive technical excellence.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate calibration programs and measurement systems.
• Ensure records, procedures, and certificates are audit-ready and compliant.
