Job summary

Intel Corporation in Arizona is seeking a motivated Module Equipment Technician to join our world-class semiconductor manufacturing team. This role offers hands-on experience maintaining and improving module equipment, supporting engineering, and driving efficiency in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, optical, electrical engineering, CS or related engineering field with no experience.
  • Alternatively a STEM degree with 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience.
  • An associate degree with 2+ years of maintenance experience or an associate degree with 6+ years of maintenance experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sustaining support for module equipment and components, including installation and qualification of new equipment
  • Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for module equipment and components
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations
  • Partner with engineering teams on repair development procedures to ensure manufacturability and efficiency
  • Create detailed documentation of procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Interface with engineering teams and report schedule updates to management
  • Support engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experiments
  • Collaborate with engineers on new equipment installations and process improvements
  • Partner with the manufacturing floor team to meet factory commitments on time
  • Operate equipment and assess quality issues, including off-shift evaluations

We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientedModule Equipment Technicianto join our dynamic manufacturing team inArizona, US. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a world-class semiconductor manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our advanced manufacturing equipment running at peak performance, supporting engineering teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact production outcomes.

This position is assigned to Shift 8, a compressed evening work schedule. Employees typically work a 2-day, 3-day, or 4-day workweek with extended daily shifts. More than 50% of scheduled work hours occur between 3:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight). Specific workdays, hours, and overtime eligibility will be determined in accordance with business needs and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

This role requiresregular onsite presenceat our Arizona facility to fulfill essential job responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sustaining support for module equipment and components, including installation and qualification of new equipment

  • Execute maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for module equipment and components, including dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and reassembling equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, and specifications

  • Design and develop relevant tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations

  • Partner with engineering teams on repair development procedures to ensure manufacturability and process efficiency

  • Create detailed documentation of operational and maintenance procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance

  • Interface with engineering teams and report schedule updates to management on a regular basis

  • Support engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation to improve module availability and performance

  • Collaborate with engineers to support new equipment installations, sustaining activities, and process improvement initiatives

  • Partner with the manufacturing floor team to ensure factory commitments are met on time

  • Operate equipment as required and make engineering evaluations of equipment and quality issue escalations, particularly during off-shift hours

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role)
