Raytheon is seeking an Engineering Section Manager to lead the Metrology Engineering Team in Tucson, AZ. You will drive calibration methods, improve test systems, ensure compliance with Raytheon and industry standards, and lead multidisciplinary engineers and technicians to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test equipment maintenance, product test or quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership experience in a technical environment.
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary metrology engineering team and support calibration technicians and test equipment maintenance personnel.
• Manage staffing, training, performance development, succession planning and labor forecasting.
• Oversee processes for equipment classification, asset lifecycle management, scheduling, traceability and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and program teams to ensure test readiness and minimize downtime.
