Job summary

Actalent, Inc. in Burlington, NC seeks a contract role to manage plant-wide gauging and equipment databases, perform CMM measurements, and coordinate calibrations with external providers.

The successful candidate will calibrate and repair gauging equipment, prepare gages for shipment to the managed service provider, and support external calibration services while communicating with departments and suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a quality role.
• GD&T knowledge and calibration/measuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant-wide gauging and equipment database.
• Calibrate and repair gauging and equipment.
• Perform CMM measurement of gauging.
• Prepare gages for shipping to the managed service provider.
• Support managed service provider for external calibrations.
• Communicate with departments and suppliers on gauging/equipment issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
