Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Roseville, CA is seeking an Intern Level 2 to support modernization of the 3458A ecosystem, enabling improved calibration and service operations while gaining hands-on experience in metrology and data analysis.

You will work with senior engineers on data analysis, test execution, and documentation, contributing to lab automation and continuous improvement projects in a highly specialized technical environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework or equivalent progress.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance when needed.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities associated with the 3458A ecosystem modernization program.
• Collect, organize, and analyze technical and operational data.
• Assist with test execution, validation activities, and results documentation.
• Support development and maintenance of engineering procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Assist in the evaluation and characterization of hardware, software, and measurement processes.
• Support laboratory automation, data-management, and continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project status updates.
• Maintain laboratory records in accordance with quality and traceability requirements.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, metrologists, and cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
• Follow established safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.
