Job summary

KLA in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a skilled researcher/engineer to advance OFM metrology applications, develop optical metrology recipes, and perform modeling (Drude-Lorentz, RCWA) to ensure measurement accuracy across logic, memory and packaging flows.

You will engage customers, support tool qualification, collaborate with product and R&D teams, and help drive new use cases while traveling up to 30% internationally and domestically.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Customer engagement & technical support for OFM applications.
• Develop and optimize optical metrology recipes and perform modeling.
• Demo & evaluation of metrology solutions with customers.
• Collaborate with product engineering and R&D teams to drive improvements.
• Support advanced semiconductor applications across logic, memory and packaging.
