Job summary

Suzanne Snell is seeking a Metrologist to design, implement, and maintain quality control and metrology programs supporting manufacturing engineering. You will help ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.

You will analyze quality data, investigate defects, support CAPA, calibration, MSA, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to improve process capability and product performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in metrology, quality engineering or related field within a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T, measurement systems, calibration practices, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485 or other medical device quality standards preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain quality control and metrology programs.
• Analyze quality data and recommend improvements to methods, procedures, and standards.
• Verify products are manufactured to engineering specifications, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Investigate, document, and report product defects and nonconformances.
• Track quality issues through resolution and support CAPA.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to improve product performance and process capability.
• Support calibration, measurement system analysis, and inspection activities.
