Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites student interns to gain hands-on experience in finance, analytics, and business operations. The program supports budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for technology initiatives in a large public sector context.

Interns will rotate through departments in MD and DC for up to 13 weeks during the summer, supervised by executives or designees, with mentorship and exposure to transit functions and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal computers and standard office equipment.
• Knowledgeable of computer software, specifically spreadsheets, word processing and databases.

Responsabilités

• Compiles, reviews and analyzes data for reports.
• Researches data for management, operations, technical and administrative reports.
• Produces tangible work product such as presentations, reports, or data visuals.
• Reviews reports and suggests solutions under supervisor guidance.
• Participates in training sessions and departmental meetings.
