Job summary
Core4ce, in collaboration with the AFRL CEM Research Group at Wright-Patterson AFB, seeks a research-grade postdoctoral candidate in optics, photonics, and electromagnetics to advance metasurfaces and metamaterials. The role focuses on design, fabrication in cleanroom environments, and comprehensive characterization of novel multilayer metasurfaces.

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Optics, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- US Citizenship required; ability to obtain Secret clearance.
- Ability to work in an office/lab environment; potential for remote work.
- Experience with cleanroom nanofabrication and metasurfaces preferred.
- Experience with optical measurements and characterization of metasurfaces.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn deposition and thin film characterization.
Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and characterize optical frequency metasurfaces and metamaterials.
- Develop multilayer metasurface fabrication techniques in a cleanroom environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; contribute to simulations and device design.
