Job summary

EMJ (Earle M. Jorgensen Company) is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to pull, fill, cut orders and manage inventory and shipping. You will operate equipment, verify material, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–9:45pm.

You will contribute to a critical supply chain function, handling metals distribution for steel/aluminum products with opportunities for local deliveries and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience in warehousing or material handling is preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment.
• Fill customer orders and pull material from racks.
• Unload incoming material and load trucks.
• Maintain the warehouse and stocking locations.
• Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specs.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks, saws and other heavy equipment as required.
• Ensure safe and efficient machine and equipment operations.
• Drive company vehicle for local deliveries and parts pick-up (non-DOT).
