• Conduct routine equipment inspections and daily inspection sheets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including lubrication and minor repairs.
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment and notify supervisor or maintenance team.

Principal Objective of Position:The Ferrous Material Handler works with Ferrous Operators to safely sort, upgrade, and process material. The position performs manual labor and outdoor work daily and may be required to work with customers, vendors, and contractors.Essential Functions:The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. When operating equipment, the position operates in a controlled environment, however when equipment needs repairs or maintenance, exposure to weather elements exist. Overtime and weekend work will be required at times. Once trained, this position normally works with at least one other individual.
