Job summary

Plascore, a global manufacturer of honeycomb core and lightweight structures, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for its Metals division on the 3rd shift (10:30 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday) at Zeeland, MI. You will maintain plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and install new equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience
• Electrical maintenance experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment in the business unit
• Keep all equipment in safe operating conditions
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Install new equipment as required
• Troubleshoot basic electrical problems
• Fabricate fixtures or parts to maintain or improve equipment
• Perform typical electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, or machine work to maintain the equipment
• Maintain all records of repairs made to equipment
