Job summary

AMETEK Specialty Metal Products in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Traffic and Metals Utility Worker to support material movement, packaging for shipping, and plant housekeeping in a safety-focused environment.

You will operate towmotor and pallet trucks, assist maintenance, and help maintain accurate shipping records while participating in safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with a strong mechanical and mathematical ability.
• Must be able to operate towmotor, electric and manual pallet trucks, electric saws, shears, flatteners, spooling tables and banding equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage materials, assist with lifting and moving as needed.
• Operate scrap baler and manage scrap containers and shipping area.
• Prepare materials for shipping, weigh and label, and maintain shipping logs.
