Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work (SPW) Cost Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates and support project planning, bidding, and operations. You will apply materials, labor, and equipment data while coordinating with field, procurement, scheduling, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and risk-informed estimates.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of estimating experience and a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of estimating, preconstruction, or cost analysis experience for self-perform or construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares SPW cost estimates integrating material, labor, equipment and data for multiple scopes.
  • Analyzes drawings, models, and specs to validate quantities and scope completeness.
  • Collaborates with field leaders, engineers, and project teams to align estimates with execution plans.
  • Coordinates with procurement to evaluate vendor pricing and level bids for SPW work.
  • Develops variance analyses and cost studies to support value engineering and constructability discussions.
  • Coordinates with scheduling and operations to align SPW with phasing and sequencing plans.
