Johnson Camp Mine / Gunnison Project | Southwestern Arizona | Full-time, site-based
Help improve copper recovery where the work happens: in the field, at the leach pads, and alongside the teams running the operation. Gunnison Copper is seeking a Metallurgist who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants to build a career in an expanding copper operation using innovative Nuton bioleaching technology.
Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, you’ll connect sampling, testing, and operating data with practical improvements in heap-leach and SX/EW performance. This is a full-time career position for an experienced professional, not an internship.
Gunnison Copper offers competitive pay, professional growth, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the performance of a growing copper operation. Occasional night or weekend work may be required.
Safety-sensitive position: This role is designated safety sensitive and is subject to applicable fitness-for-duty requirements.
Work authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Gunnison Copper is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position, now or in the future.
