Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI, is seeking a Metallography Lab Supervisor to lead the Metallography laboratory at the Howmet Research Center.
You will oversee hiring, training, and qualification of technicians and manage instrument procurement and maintenance. The role requires a BS in engineering or 5 years metallography, experience in materials testing, and US work authorization; export-control and eligibility are required.
This position will have technical and supervisory responsibility for the Metallography laboratory in the Howmet Research Center (HRC), located in Whitehall, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role as well as experience in manufacturing and a materials testing lab.
