Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. in Warwick, RI is seeking personnel for a manufacturing production role in a clean room environment. You will operate equipment for metal deposition and electrical measurements, read specifications, and log data in production records.

This entry position requires a high school diploma and a detail-oriented mindset. No prior experience is required, but a continuous improvement attitude and good manual dexterity are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment performing metal deposition and electrical measurement in a clean room environment.
• Enters all pertinent information into production logs.
• Reads and interprets routine production specifications and drawings.
• Performs equipment setup and calibration; makes adjustments per procedures.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Reads and interprets internal process instructions.

• Enter all pertinent information required into production logs.
• Read and interpret routine production specifications and drawings.
• Performs equipment set up and calibration; makes necessary adjustments per applicable manufacturing procedures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret internal process instructions.

What you will bring along:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
• Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
• Good hand/finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
• Will be required to wear clean room attire.
• Must possess the ability to read and write to understand production documents, specifications, designs and accurately record required information.
• Able to perform mathematic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a learned method or calculator.
• Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
