The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and willingness to learn; prior auto body shop experience is a plus, and physical stamina is important for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive repair training is a plus.
• Experience in an auto body shop is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of auto body repair techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor and long periods on feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist metal technicians with preparation and repair of vehicle bodies.
• Transport materials and equipment to and from the work area.
• Perform basic disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components.
• Sand, grind, and clean metal surfaces to quality standards.
• Keep the workspace organized, safe, and free of hazards.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE at all times.
• Provide support with other duties as needed.
