Tournesol Siteworks, LLC is a national manufacturer of landscape products with facilities in California, Washington, and Texas. Our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility seeks a Metal Fabricator to join the team and process steel and aluminum using saws and equipment, under supervision of the Metal Lead and Production Team.

You will contribute to project success by reading orders, ensuring material quality, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven metal fabrication experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production orders and cut sheets.
• Inspect material quality before, during and after processes.
• Complete inventory paperwork accurately.
• Report defective material and faulty equipment immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow plant safety rules.

About the Team

The Metal Fabrication team is currently seeking an individual with metal fabrication experience for our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility. The Metal Fabrication team works together with other departments to create, build, assemble and ship products for the commercial construction industry.

About the Role

As a Metal fabricator, you’ll work under the direction of one of the Metal Lead and directly with the Production Team processing steel and aluminum using a automated and manual saws and other equipment as required. The Operator will also be involved in processing materials for custom products. You’ll be based in our Port Orchard, WA manufacturing facility. You’ll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production orders and cut sheets
• Inspect the quality of the material before, during and after the various processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete required paperwork for inventory purposes
• Report defective material and faulty equipment to Production Manager immediately
• Maintain a clean work environment and abide by all plant safety regulations and work rules

Necessary Skills

• Proven experience in metal fabrication
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs.
