Pirate Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support material handling for drop-offs and pickups. You will assist customers, sort metal and scrap inventory, and operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, sorters, and compactors.

The role emphasizes safety, outdoor work, and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness, and inspecting materials for quality.

Formación

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a background check and urine drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with material drop-offs, pickups, and product selection.
• Sort metal, recycling, and scrap inventory.
• Handle materials, load/unload trucks safely.
• Operate machinery and equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, sorters, and compactors.
• Maintain yard and warehouse organization, cleanup, and grounds maintenance.
• Inspect incoming materials for contamination and quality standards.
• Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to pass a background check and urine drug screening. Forklift and Mule experience or certification is a plus-required for certain roles. 100% of job duties are performed in the outside environment.
