FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Hourly
Reports To: Metal/Laser Manager
Pay Range: $24.00/hourly
Job Location: Vishay Applied Thin Film Products is located in Fremont, CA.
Work is performed primarily in a lab environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. The employee is regularly required to communicate, talk, and listen. May be required to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; bend, stoop, and twist; closely observe items through a microscope, and perform various repetitive fine grasping motions; use a variety of small hand tools to perform various operations; operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.), and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals or particulate matter.
May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs.
