Job summary

Incertec is seeking an experienced Metal Plater to join our manufacturing team. You will apply electroplating and anodizing techniques to components, ensuring high-quality finishes and conformance to specifications.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of plating experience across at least two finishes, strong knowledge of plating chemicals, and proficiency with measurement tools and blue prints.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of plating processes, chemicals, and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Intermediate math skills.
• Experience with blue print reading and measuring equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform metal plating operations using electroplating, anodizing, and other surface finishing processes.
• Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking as required.
• Monitor plating baths and adjust chemical compositions to maintain proper plating conditions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot plating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document and report production activities and any issues encountered.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
