Nico Products, Inc. is seeking a Metal Plater/Line Operator to join our Minneapolis, MN facility. You will operate and monitor electroplating lines, ensuring coated parts meet strict quality and safety standards while supporting multiple demanding industries.
The role offers a second shift (3:00 PM–1:00 AM) with overtime as needed, along with initial training on the 1st shift for up to 6 months. Starting pay is $28.00/hour with a $1,500 signing bonus for new hires.
Location: Nico Products - Minneapolis MN
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM-1:00 AM + Overtime as Needed
Training: Initial training may be completed on 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM) for approximately 3-6 months.
Pay: Starting at $28.00/hour (DOQ)
Signing Bonus: $1,500.00 (New hires only. Current employees are not eligible.)

Metal finishing and electroplating are critical to the products people rely on every day, including medical devices, aerospace components, defense equipment, industrial machinery, tools, and hardware. Our trade isn't taught in schools—we'll teach you.
Training includes both hands‑on instruction and online coursework covering plating processes, metals, chemistry, and quality standards.

Metal Platers (also known as Line Operators or Electroplating Technicians) operate and monitor plating lines that apply protective and functional coatings to customer parts.
This position is responsible for processing parts according to detailed work instructions while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.
Every part you process directly supports customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing industries.
