Job summary

RANDALL Architectural Ironworks in Apopka, FL, is seeking a skilled Metal Panel Installer to join our team in the shop and on projects in the Orlando area. This is not an entry-level position; you must read plans and install ACM, rainscreen, and related panel systems to spec with minimal supervision.

You will work at height, lift 50+ lbs, and bring 3+ years of hands-on ACM panel installation experience, own tools, and OSHA 10 (or higher) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on ACM panel installation experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial exterior cladding systems.
• Able to read and work from drawings without constant supervision.
• Experience with metal panel systems, rainscreen assemblies, and waterproofing is a plus.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ lbs.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience operating lifts (scissor/boom).
• Willingness to work extended and off hours.

Responsibilities

• Install Metal panel systems including ACM and rainscreen systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans.
• Layout and install sub-framing, rails, and attachment systems.
• Ensure panels are level, plumb, and installed to manufacturer specifications.

Randall Architectural Ironworks is currently seeking a top-tier Metal Panel Installer to work in our Apopka, FL Shop and on projects in the Orlando area. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Metal Panel Installer with proven experience in commercial exterior systems. This is not an entry-level position. You must be able to work independently, read plans, and install panels to spec with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions

• Install Metal panel systems including IMP, Single skin, and ACM panel systems (rainscreen systems, single skin panel systems, etc.)
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout plans.
• Layout and install sub-framing, rails, and attachment systems.
• Ensure panels are level, plumb, and installed to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

• OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience operating lifts (scissor/boom)
• Be willing and able to work extended and off hours
• Value and exhibit safe working methods
• Communicate efficiently and effectively
• Pass a background & driving record check
• Preferred: Experience with Alucobond, Morin, Centria or similar panel systems.
• Preferred: OSHA 30 certification.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular work in shop and active field/jobsite environments. The Metal Panel Installer must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, remain on their feet for extended periods, and bend, stretch, crouch, climb, and move throughout active construction environments as necessary.

The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to potentially hazardous conditions, respond to audible warnings, and properly wear required personal protective equipment.
