PrideStaff is hiring a Metal Finishing Technician for a Newark, NY facility to perform finishing and deburring tasks using microscopes, grinders, tumblers and hand/power tools, ensuring quality by following GD&T standards.

Ideal candidates have multiple years of hands-on experience in finishing/deburring in a manufacturing setting, with leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and precise documentation of work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 2+ Years of Finishing/Deburring Experience Preferred.
• Previous GD&T Knowledge Related to Finishing/Deburring Product Preferred.
• Familiar With AS9100 Competencies as Defined by QL-7200 Training Matrix.
• Must be Able to Use a Microscope to Visually Inspect Work.
• Clear Blueprint & Document Interpretation Required.
• Must Have Excellent Hand & Eye Coordination & Dexterity.
• Demonstrates Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
• Leads With a Positive Attitude & a Willingness to go Above & Beyond.

Responsibilities

• Set up, Program, & Select Tools For Each Job For Deburring/Finishing.
• Deburr Parts For Aerospace Manifolds.
• Read Blueprints & or Drawings to Guide Work.
• Assist, Lead, & Train Others in Deburring of Complex Parts.
• Verify Each Work Completed Meets Quality Standards.
• Accurately Document & Record Work Completed.
• Ensure Work Area is Maintained & Organized.
• Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines.
