Job summary

Kurt Manufacturing in Columbia Heights, MN is seeking a Metal Finisher I to place metal objects in mesh containers and immerse them in chemical cleaning and rinsing baths. The role works Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., with starting hourly pay of $20.26–$27.00, depending on knowledge, experience, skills, and education. Essential tasks include moving products between machines and wash stations, maintaining solution levels, and performing basic maintenance such as cleaning, chip

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 years of related experience is required.
  • Associate’s Degree is preferred.
  • 4 years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Tends equipment solution levels and performs assigned maintenance including cleaning, chip removal, and changing or cleaning filters.
  • Reliable attendance is required.

Job Summary

The Metal Finisher I places metal objects in mesh container and immerses objects in a series of chemical cleaning and rinsing baths.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly starting rate for this position is between $20.26 to $27.00. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Shift/Hours: Mon-Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

  • Tends equipment solution levels and performs assigned maintenance including cleaning, chip removal, and changing or cleaning filters.
