Job summary

RAJE Technology, LLC in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a 2nd Shift Metal Finisher to polish and deburr a range of machined parts, reading blueprints and ensuring quality finishes.

Training provided; must have high school diploma or GED, experience with metal finishing, and preferred trade/technical schooling. You will operate polishing tools, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety and environmental processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow job schedule to perform bench operations to polish and remove burrs from a variety of machined and fabricated parts.
• Assist Floor Supervisor with the assignment of jobs to the Finishing Department’s personnel.
• Create tools to increase efficiency of part finishing.
• Reading and interpreting blue prints.
• Manual polishing and metal finishing.
• Powered device use for polishing and metal finishing including dremels, sanders, drills, grinders and other tools to complete parts.
• Use of special tools to remove burrs from critical areas.
• Inspect own work, correct or report detected discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Maintain necessary records. Move materials in the performance of duties or as directed. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor.

SUMMARY:

Performs all jobs relating to the Machine Shop Deburr/Finishing Department.

Hiring for 2nd Shift Metal Finisher - 2:30PM - 10:30PM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The metal finisher performs the following duties on a wide range of products and equipment. Work is performed under supervision by the department Lead.
