Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled fabricator in Hillsboro, TX to read blueprints, measure and lay out materials, and operate various fabrication machines in a fast-paced shop.

You will weld using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes, assemble components, inspect finished work to meet quality standards, keep tools and workspace clean, and collaborate with teammates to hit daily production targets in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery and hand tools.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, and layout materials for fabrication.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, presses, shears, brakes, and punch machines.
• Cut, bend, drill, and shape metal to specifications.
• Assemble fabricated components using welding, bolting, riveting, or other fastening methods.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the shop.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment as needed.
