Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dependable Metal Fabricator to produce roofing trims, edge metal systems, and specialty components. You will verify orders, fabricate to specs, and maintain quality and on-time production.

This full-time role requires safety awareness, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime during peak periods; schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of roofing installation procedures and roofing components.
• Ability to read measurements and written instructions accurately; learn quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, teamwork and communication.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to take direction.
• Ability to safely handle materials weighing 50 pounds or more with assistance.
• Availability for occasional overtime during peak production periods.

Responsibilities

• Verify before cutting: double-check trim orders, dimensions, quantities and notes.
• Fabricate metal roofing trims and components to approved specs.
• Count flat sheets, assist with inventory counts and organization.
• Complete work by end of shift and meet production deadlines.
• Perform final quality checks for dimensions and materials.
• Label and wrap pallets for shipment as needed.
• Document approved changes and report issues to Fabrication Manager.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors and provide customer service.
• Keep areas clean and operate equipment safely.
