Paycom - ATS is seeking a Metal Fabricator in Holland, MI (1st shift) to construct jigs and fixtures for the manufacturing process with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. The role involves collaborating with the manufacturing engineering team to develop effective manufacturing solutions and improve overall operations.

The ideal candidate will have welding experience, MIG proficiency, and knowledge of shop math.

Qualifications

• Trade school/college welding education required.

Responsibilities

• The Metal Fabricator works closely with manufacturing engineering team to research and develop creative and effective solutions for manufacturing and product launch projects
• The Metal Fabricator, along with manufacturing engineering team, develops methods to improve department operation and overall operation of the manufacturing process
• Weld & fabricate metal reinforcements for various production molds
• Weld & assemble a variety of jigs, fixtures used in manufacturing
• Order and maintain department supplies
