Piedmont Metals is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our Burlington, NC team. You will load materials, operate band saws and press brakes, read cut lists, and perform quality checks to meet specifications.

Experience with CNC programming and reading tape measures (standard and metric) is required. Expect full-time, on-site work with competitive hourly pay and benefits including 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Saw Operator experience.
• Strong understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in operating various machine tools and equipment.
• Experience with CNC programming.
• Ability to read tape measures (standard and metric).
• Familiarity with press brake machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, stand for an entire shift, and lift heavy materials.

Responsabilités

• Operate band saws and maintain cleanliness of machines.
• Read cut lists and specifications to plan and execute production runs.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and company quality control guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize press brake machine capabilities to bend and shape metal parts.
• Collaborate with other production staff to meet production targets and deadlines.
