Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in Sparks, NV is seeking a MetalTech production employee to process raw materials and support the manufacture of our finished products in a busy shop. You will be on your feet, moving quickly to meet customer needs and report to the production supervisor as part of a close-knit team.

You should enjoy working with your hands, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read production drawings, and use simple measuring tools. Metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
• Comfort with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use simple measuring tools.
• Committed to safety and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing general, manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Organizing cut metal parts including sorting and stacking.
• Operating machines and equipment or using hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fit.
• Performing cleanup and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Reading production drawings to guide work.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
