Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Sanford, NC is seeking Machine Operators to work with brake presses, turrets, hairpins, and other fabrication equipment. Candidates should have basic setup and operation experience for metal fabrication and be capable of reading blueprints.

Responsibilities include cutting, bending, forming according to specs, data entry into ERP, and defect reporting. Physical requirements and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 50 lbs during shift.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• 1+ year experience operating metal fabricating machinery.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Minimum 1–2 years in metal fabrication or related field.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery (press brakes, shears, cutting tools, benders).
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Cutting, bending and forming metal plates, sheets and shapes per blueprints.
• Detect defective materials and report to supervisors.
• Enter data into ERP systems.
