Job summary

Contract Industrial Tooling (CIT) seeks a Metal Fabrication Dimensional Inspection Technician to perform in‑process inspections of weldments and assemblies. You will interpret blueprints, conduct visual and measurement tests, and ensure readings are accurate before release.

Responsibilities include recording results in Epicor and reporting to the Quality Manager. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and adherence to ISO 9001 standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in quality inspection or equivalent training.
• Experience in welding/fabrication manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with dimensional tools and inspection methods.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections of weldments and assemblies against drawings and specifications.
• Perform visual and measurement tests.
• Escalate and recommend adjustments and send nonconforming product for rework.
• Complete inspection records and enter results into Epicor.
• Prepare and submit reports for the Quality Manager.
• Operate and maintain measuring devices per instructions.
