Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Metal Fabrication Helper in York, PA. You’ll join a hands-on team that works with stainless steel, aluminum, and steel components. No prior fabrication experience is required for motivated learners. Paid training and a path to a skilled trade are offered.

You will deburr, grind, and read blueprints, helping with general shop tasks while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and contributing to quality workmanship. Competitive pay and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools and read basic blueprints or work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail in a quality-focused shop environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, and finish metal parts to ensure smooth edges and polished surfaces.
• Follow blueprints and work instructions while assisting with general fabrication tasks.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products and help maintain a clean and safe workspace.
