Job summary

Ryerson in Atlanta is seeking a Truck Driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver metal products to customers. You will load and unload, verify packaging, and maintain vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years flatbed driving experience.
• Unexpired Class A CDL required.
• FMCSA medical card required.
• Experience delivering to customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Deliver metal of all shapes/sizes to customers.
• Pickup necessary material from customer jobsite.
• Maintain safe operation of company vehicle per FMCSA.
• Verify final packaging of material per customer specification.
• Maximum productivity during job task.
• Operate overhead crane to move material as needed.
• Operate a forklift to move material as needed.
• Carry/move supplies as needed.
• All other duties as assigned or may change at any time.
