Job summary

CW Resources is hiring a Mess Attendant/Janitor to support military dining areas at Fort Drum. No experience is required; we’ll train you on the job.

Hours vary from 6:00am to 9:00pm, 7 days a week, with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and smooth service throughout shifts. As part of a mission-driven team, you’ll set up stations, wash dishes, sanitize areas, and assist with meal-service setup while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid RealID.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
• No experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need on the job.
• Be willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Show up to work on time and be ready to work.
• Be friendly and respectful to customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up your work area, gathering supplies, and preparing the dish station.
• Collect, sort, and rinse dirty dishes from dining and service areas.
• Run dishes through the commercial dish machine and hand-wash pots and pans.
• Sanitize and put away clean dishes for the next meal.
• Keep the galley clean by sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing food scraps.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and follow disposal procedures.
• Reset the dining area between meals by wiping tables and restocking supplies.
• Assist with meal-service setup by stocking trays, utensils, and serving items.
• Follow supervisor instructions to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Work with your team during busy mealtimes to keep service running smoothly.
• End your shift by completing final cleaning tasks and checking out with supervisor.
